Named after the hit single and self title book, ScarTISSUE is Australia's Premier Red Hot Chili Pepper tribute band based in Melbourne. ScarTISSUE bring forward a sound that is true to form with vibrant vocals, sizzling guitar solos, rambunctious funk rhythms and bombastic bass riffs.

ScarTISSUE formed in Melbourne in 2007 after a love for the music and have sturdily gained a loyal following and fan base. With a lineup secured around Stefan Smith (vocals), Vanessa Madden (guitar), Ron Brandse (bass), and Sam Mellington (drums), ScarTISSUE are now recognised as an exciting and upcoming professional band with a unique flair for showmanship and talent.

The ScarTISSUE live show is an exhilarating whirlwind of sweat-drenching energy charged vocals, funk driven drums, wailing guitar solos and rhythmic bass within improvisations reminiscent of the Red Hot Chili Peppers but with a flair all their own. They are definitely an exciting live band to witness first hand.
